Two lengths of ribbon
for each of two wings
Length of contrasting ribbon for body
Tape
Wrap ribbon around thumb, holding the end firmly in place.
Continue winding, making each circle a
little larger until the wheel is the desired size. This is the wing.
Tape the ends firmly and make a second
wheel the same size.
Loop a short length of contrasting
ribbon over fingers as shown, to form the body and feelers. Tape at
the centre.
Place the body between the two wings and
tape all three together at the middle. Cover the tape with a short
piece of ribbon tied at the back.
