Edging:
First Bell: Ch 25, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) a shell in 7th st from
hook, ch 3, sk 2 sts of beginning ch, sl st in next st.
Row 1: Ch 3, turn, 6 dc in last ch 3 lp made, ch 4, (2 dc, ch 2,
2dc) a shell in shell.
Row 2: Ch 6, turn, shell in shell, ch 6, 2 dc in first dc, dc in
each of next 5 dc, 2 dc in top of turning ch.
Row 3: Ch 3, turn, dc in each of next 8 dc, 2 dc in last dc.
Row 4: Ch 3, turn, dc in each of next 10 dc, dc in top of turning
ch.
Row 5: Ch 3, turn, dc in each of next 11 dc, dc in top of turning
ch.
Row 6: Ch 3, turn, 2 dc in next dc, dc in each of next 11 dc, 2 dc
in top of turning ch, sl st in first st of beginning ch.
Row 7: Ch 4, turn, sk 1 dc, sc in next dc, (ch 3, sk 1 dc, sc in
next dc) 6 times, ch 4, sc in top of turning ch.
Second Bell: Ch 15, shell in shell, ch 6, turn, shell in shell, ch
3, sk 2 sts of ch 15, sl st in next st of ch.
Repeat Rows 1 through 4 of first bell.
Row 5: Ch 3, sc in last sc on previous bell, turn, dc in each of
next 11 dc, dc in top of turning ch.
Row 6: Repeat Row 6 of first bell.
Row 7: Ch 3, turn, 2 dc in first dc, dc in each of next 11 dc, 2 dc
in sc of previous row.
Row 8: Repeat Row 7 of first bell.
Continue making and joining bells in same manner for length desired.
Fasten off.
