Vintage Knitting Patterns Book

Beehive Series No. 62, c 1940s, 29 pages
Vintage patterns for men's socks knit on 4 needles for dress and sports wear
in a variety of patterns. The length of leg to bottom of heel flap for all
socks is 13 1/2 inches except for the Innovation patterns which also have 8
1/2 inches.
Beehive Innovation is a section with
three patterns The new way to knit a sock. These patterns require one set
of four needles and one set of two needles. There is a note that a patent
has been applied for this with regard to this method.
In addition, there is a section on the Aladdin Heel. Using this
heel, you can replace a worn out heel without unravelling the foot.
