I am an avid gardener and needed some
inexpensive garden edging that was flat so the lawnmower could easily
drive over it and therefore not require a lot of weed whacking. This is
the method I now use. It is relatively inexpensive, durable, can be made
quickly, and can be made in batches as you require.
Fair Isle knitting, also known as Norwegian
knitting, is a knit design worked in stocking stitch using different
colours of yarn. Instructions are given for knitting with a sample pattern
for practise.
My
Ducks!
I just wanted to show
this picture. Every year we have a mother duck and her babies come to eat
seed fallen from the bird feeder. I always throw out a scoop of seed for
them. This year, a flock decided to come as well. They never got any
closer. It was interesting to watch her protect her babies and keep these
big guys away!
