Crochet a lovely flower coaster to give as a
gift set or hostess gift, or use to decorate packages.
FLOWER:
In white, ch 7, sl st in 1st st. Ch 4, dc in ring, (ch 1, dc in ring) 10
times, ch 1, sl st in 1st 3-ch.
Row 2: Ch 3, (2 dc in next sp, 1
dc in dc) around, sl st in 3-ch. Fasten off.
Row 3: In rose, sc in 3 dc, * (sc,
ch 9, sc) in next dc, sc in next 5 dc.
Repeat from * around, sl st in 1st sc.
Row 4: * 2 dc in next loop, (2 tr,
ch 4, sl st in last tr) 7 times in same loop, 2 tr and 2 dc in balance of
loop, sc between loops.
Repeat from * 5 times. Fasten off.
LEAF:
In green, ch 13, (1 sc, 1 hdc, 2 dc, 4 tr, 2 dc and 1 hdc) on ch, (2 sc, a
3-ch p and 1 sc) in end st, (1 hdc, 2 dc, 4 tr, 2 dc, 1 hdc and 1 sc) on
other side of ch, sl st in 1st sc, ch 1 and fasten off.
Make 6 and sew between flower petals.
