An easy pull over beach cover with side ties
to sew for a child from a towel.
Use one towel for a smaller child or two
towels for an older child. The length is twice the width.
If you use two towels, sew the shoulders together.
Cut a pocket from one corner and two strips
for the belt.
Cut an oval from the centre of the towel for the head.
Bind the neck edge and both side edges of the towel with bias tape.
Turn under the edges of the pocket and stitch to the towel.
Turn under and stitch the edges of the belt and attach to the centre back
on the waist line.
