Fabric of your choice
Scissors
Glue
Easy to make flowers; rose, daisy, violet. Simply cut out the
petals and leaves from fabric and gather to form a rose, daisy or violet.
Make large flowers or small flowers to form a nosegay.
Cut out the pattern
pieces from fabric, green for leaves, and coloured for the flowers.
Use plain colours or be creative and use printed fabric.
Use craft wire for the
stem. Insert one end of the wire through the base of the pom pon and
fold the wire in half so the pom pon is attached at the top. Cut a 9
inch piece of wire and bend one end at a right angle as shown. (the
petals will be attached to this wire).
Fold the bottom of the
wire up an inch and cover with green fabric by wrapping around until
covered including the right angle bent wire. Glue the end.
Fold each petal around
the wire on the fold line. Push to gather and wrap the wire around the
stem until all the petals are in place. Tuck in the wire end.
