Ch, join with sl st to form a ring.

Rnd 1: Ch 1, 15 sc in ring. Join with sl st to first sc.

Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in joining, * ch 3, skip next 2 sc, sc in next sc.
Repeat from * around, ending with ch 3. Join as before - 5 loops

Rnd 3: In each loop around make sc, hdc, 3 dc, hdc, sc. Join. (5 petals).

Rnd 4: Work into back loop at base of sts, sl st in next sc, hdc, 2 dc, * ch 3, sl st in back loop at base of center dc of next petal.
Repeat from * around, ending with ch 3. Join to 4th sl st.

Rnd 5: Repeat Rnd 3.

Rnd 6: * Sc in back loop at base of first hdc of next petal, ch 3, sc in back loop at base of last hdc of same petal, ch 3.
Repeat from * around. Join (10 loops)

Rnd 7: Repeat Rnd 3 (10 petals).

Rnd 8 and 9: Repeat Rnd 6 and Rnd 3 (20 petals).

Rnd 10 to 19: Repeat Rnd 4 and Rnd 3 alternately (20 petals)

Rnd 20: Repeat Rnd 4 making ch 4 for each loop instead of ch 3.

Rnd 21: Repeat Rnd 3 making 5 dc instead of 3 dc in each petal.

Rnd 22 to 25: Repeat Rnd 20 and Rnd 21 alternately.

Rnd 26: Repeat Rnd 4 making ch 5 for each loop.

Rnd 27: Repeat Rnd 3 making 7 dc in stead of 3 dc in each petal.

Rnd 28 and 29: Repeat Rnd 26 and Rnd 27.

Rnd 30: Repeat Rnd 4 making ch 6 for each loop.

Rnd 31: Repeat Rnd 3 making 9 dc in each petal.

Break off and fasten. Cut 2 pieces of felt and sew to back.
