Row 1:
Ch 1, make 3 k sts, sc in sc of first k st, (make 4 k sts, sk the first 2
sc, sc in next sc) 19 times. This forms the fringe on the edge.
Row 2:
Without turning work, make 3 k sts, sk 2, sc in next sc (2 k sts, sk 2 k
sts, sc in sc) repeat to end of row making last sc in ch 1.
Row 3:
Turn work. Make 2 k sts, sc in sc with the ch 1, 3 k sts, sk 2 sc, sc in
next sc, (2 k sts, sk 2 k sts, sc in sc) repeat until there are 43
patterns of fringe on side of scarf.
Row 4:
Make (3 k sts, sc in sc of first k st) twice, sk 2 k sts, sc in sc, this
forms corner. (3 k sts, sc in sc of first k st, make 1 k st, sk 2 k sts,
sc in sc) repeat to end of row, then make 2 k sts, in same st as last sc;
fasten off.
