Tension:
A very easy to knit stole in a pretty lacey
herringbone pattern. Attach fringe or if you prefer, add a knit or
crocheted edging.
Row 1: K 1. * Yfwd, K 2 tog. Repeat from * to end of row.
Repeat this row, noting that the first st of the K2tog is always the Yfwd
of the previous row, until work measures 63 inches in all. Cast off
To Make Fringe
Wind yarn over a piece of cardboard 5 inches wide and cut through one
edge. Take 6 strands together, double them and using a crochet hook, draw
a loop through an eyelet at end of stole. Pass the ends through the loop
and knot firmly. Repeat in each eyelet along ends of stole. Trim fringe
evenly.
