Make this rug as large as you wish by adding more rows. Knit strips in the same colour or different colours and sew together around the centre.

Beginning at the Centre, cast on 12 sts.

K 9, turn, k 9.
K 6, turn, k 6.
K 3, turn, k 3.
K 11, turn, k 11.
K 9, turn, k 9.
K 6, turn, k 6.
K 3, turn, k 3.
K 12.

Repeat 6 more times and bind off.
Sew the last row to the first row.

Round 1:
Cast on 12 sts.
(K 12) 4 times.
K 9, turn, k 9.
(K 12) 4 times.
K 9, turn, k 9.
Repeat until the strip reaches around the centre.
Sew the ends together and sew to the centre.

Round 2:
The same as Round 1 except that the decreasing rows should occur every 6th row instead of every third row.

Repeat these two rounds to the desired size.
