Crochet this scarf for men or women in a
shell stitch pattern with fringe.
Ch 48 to begin.
Shell Pattern:
Row 1: Ch 48, sc in 4th st from hook,
ch 2, 3 dc in same st (a shell), * sk 3 sts, 1 sc in next st, ch 2, 3 dc
in same st.
Repeat from * across, ending with sk 2 sts, sc in last st.
Row 2: Ch 2, turn, dc in sc of row below, * shell (sc, ch 2, 3 dc)
in next ch 2 lp.
Repeat from * across, ending with a sc in turning ch of previous row.
Repeat the second row for desired length or about 42 inches.
Fringe: Wind yarn over a 6 inch cardboard, cut at one end. Tie 3
strands in each st on each end. Trim fringe evenly. Pin out on a flat
surface and press slightly with a damp cloth.
