Size 8 knitting needles
2 oz knitting worsted yarn and 1 oz for trim
Size 3 crochet hook
1 1/3 yards narrow ribbon for trim
Abbreviations:

knit
st
stitch
sp
space
ch
chain
sc
single crochet
dc
double crochet
Cast on 45 sts.
Work in garter st (k each row) for 7 inches.
Bind off.
Fold piece and sew seams on wrong sides at
both ends, forming a rectangle.
Trim: Crochet beading around top of
slipper in any desired color, by making one dc in every other st with a ch
2 or 3 between each.
Row 2: * Ch 3, sc in same sp, ch 3,
repeat from * around. Fasten off.
Cut ribbon in half and run through beading.
Draw up to fit and tie in a bow.
Make a second slipper in same manner.
